Cycling for Change (C4C) has again brought about the opportunity to ride while making it very meaningful. Last year I learned so much more about C4C and was happy to have played a small part in the ‘Ultimate Ride to Reduce Poverty’ that crossed the Nation. Opportunities like this allow us to focus on faith and put life into perspective. I like to ride and enjoy riding even more when it can be tied to such an important purpose. For me, joining this year’s week long NW Missouri ride as a 3 day rider is a commitment to faith (& fitness), while being able to raise awareness and funds to help families in poverty. C4C is a worthy cause that helps reduce poverty ‘one mile at a time’ and it’s too important to let roll through without becoming involved. I hope you can join me for the ride - whether it’s as a rider, along in spirit, or as part of my fundraising team. Joining my fundraising team is easy; simply click on the above ‘donate’ button and you’ll be directed to a secure online site to make a tax deductible donation. You can also help get others involved by clicking the 'invite friends' button so they can also make a donation if they choose (you can also forward my link to your friends). My fundraising goal is $500. Hopefully with your help and the help of others that can be goal can be generously surpassed as it goes towards a great cause! (You can read more on my donatation page) 40 million Americans are now living in poverty. "With awareness comes the responsibility to act." Together we CAN reduce poverty.
